It has been decided by the government of India that the entrance exam of medical school, NEET, and the exam for engineering schools, JEE, would be conducted as per schedule in the first two weeks of September itself. Students all across India have been voicing their dissent. Protests have erupted in numerous parts and many of them have decided that it's now or never. Many prominent social media celebrities such as Hansraj Meena( twitter: @HansrajMeena) have come out in the support of students furthermore states like Maharashtra and Paschimbanga have also called for deferring the exams. In this matter, I do support and stand with the students. These exams are an important turning point in life, students must not be made to take these exams at such a lamentable time. Only a few cities per state would be hosting the lakhs of aspirants, creating a surge like this during Covid certainly is a dicey plan.
